Travel & Packing
For most international travellers, UVF is the main gateway in the south; SLU is closer to Castries/Rodney Bay for regional flights. Build transfer time into the itinerary because Mercury Fest and CPL are in the north.
Book airport transfers, taxis or car rental early for festival weekend. If renting, visitors need a temporary driving license and should remember Saint Lucia drives on the left.
Bring swimsuits, lightweight outfits, sunscreen, sunglasses, waterproof pouch, sandals/water shoes, portable charger and one casual team-colour outfit for CPL.
Saint Lucia uses the Eastern Caribbean dollar. US dollars are often accepted in tourism areas, but change may be given in EC; carry small bills for taxis, vendors and beach/market stops.
